Biography/Background
Joshua Payne is a Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Morgan State University.
Before joining CED, Mr. Payne worked for a consulting firm in the Baltimore, Maryland area where he performed project design and management for clients in the telecommunications industry. Mr. Payne has also worked in residential custom home construction and as an estimator for large-scale mixed-use development.
His unique from the ground up experience has led to expertise in many aspects of civil and structural construction including: analysis, design and inspection, particularly with structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.
Mr. Payne has experience with design and operation of telecommunication infrastructure including cell towers, monopoles, rooftop cellular installations and 5G small cell installations. Additional experience includes building envelopes, forklifts, pool construction, agriculture and excavation equipment, among others.
